ACID STAINING
Acid staining is one of the original interior and exterior decorative concrete options. The stains are primarily earth-tones and resemble the look of natural stone, marble, and granite. They offer a unique marbling effect and color variation, which comes from a chemical reaction with the concrete. Because every piece of concrete is different, no two floors ever look the same.
Acid staining has one big advantage over other concrete coloring options - it is the only stain we have found that is truly UV stable. This characteristic makes it ideal for use on exterior slabs, patios, walkways and driveways.
DYE & SEAL
Dye & Seal is an easy and economical way to transform any interior concrete floor. We can grind and seal the natural gray for a modern, contemporary look, or add color to brighten up a space. The use of different sealers can achieve anything from a matte, natural-looking finish to a rich, high-gloss finish. A "wet look" sealer can be used to enhance the natural color of the concrete giving it a rich, dark, wet appearance. The design options are endless with the dye and seal system. Our color system has 26 standard colors, but almost any custom color can be created. Our dyes and sealers are very
eco-friendly.
STAMPED CONCRETE PATTERNS AND DESIGNS
Stamped concrete, often called textured or imprinted concrete, replicates materials, such as slate and flagstone, tile, brick and even wood.
CONCRETE POLISHING
Concrete polishing is a relatively new and innovative eco-friendly flooring option. It uses a bare concrete slab and transforms it to a decorative floor. The final product looks similar to a polished stone such as granite or slate. All products added to the concrete during the polishing process are intended to enhance the natural concrete, not cover or alter it.
The final product has all the natural benefits of the original concrete slab, only it ís stronger and more resistant to staining.
DECORATIVE SAWING
Concrete patterns and designs can be achieved two ways - through masking and staining or saw cutting. We can give the appearance of joints, a tile pattern, or other designs by masking the ìlinesî and staining around them. This option leaves a smooth surface with no cut lines to fill. The other option is saw cutting, which gives the design a little more depth. We can cut joints any width or depth, and almost any design. We also cut control joints on new slabs for crack relief.
Concrete polishing is quickly becoming one of the most widely used flooring options for environmentally conscious architects, owners, and builders, and a top flooring option for LEED accredited projects.
